Kerry McDonald is a Senior Education Fellow at the Foundation for Economic Education (fee.org/kerry) and author of Unschooled: Raising Curious, Well-Educated Children Outside the Conventional Classroom (Chicago Review Press, 2019). She is also a regular contributor at Forbes and a member of the Board of Directors at the Alliance for Self-Directed Education

Her articles have appeared at the Wall Street Journal, NPR, Newsweek, Education Next, Natural Mother Magazine, Entrepreneur, Reason Magazine, OZY, City Journal, and more. 

Kerry has a bachelor's degree in economics from Bowdoin College and a master's degree in education policy from Harvard University.
